TEAM CAMP REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

​Hello families! multiple pieces of important information to share with you tonight.

• FACE COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED 100% OF THE TIME  during practices beginning tomorrow, Friday July 24th, the district and state are mandating this requirement. Please make sure your player has a face covering that she is comfortable wearing for the duration of practice.

• JEFFCO RESTART PLAN
  • As you may know, Jeffco sent out a revision to the Restart Plan earlier today. It indicates that all Jeffco Schools will be online only until September 8th, and then hybrid learning after that. At this time, there are no changes to athletics, and we plan to continue with our season as scheduled, potentially with some modifications. When we have more concrete information on what that looks like exactly, we'll let you know. 

• REGISTER ON THE ATHLETICS WEBSITE
  • You'll need to also upload your player's physical form by AUGUST 3RD. This date is a change from the previous date of August 9th. The athletics department needs to review every physical form, and will send you an email confirmation when your player is cleared to play - usually within 48-72 hours.

• TEAM CAMP REGISTRATION IS OPEN! 
  • Click here to register for All Skills | Team Camp. Cost is $105.00, and each player will receive a camp shirt and coverup shorts! Registration will close on August 2nd at 3:00 pm
  • Dates: August 3rd thru 6th  
  • Times: Monday and Tuesday 7:15-9:30 am AND 5:00-7:00 pm 
  • Times: Wednesday and Thursday 7:15-9:30 am
  • We will accept Credit/Debit card, check and Zelle payments for this camp
    • Please consider using Zelle or writing a check if you are able, to help save the program some credit card fees
    • If you pay by check, you may turn it in to Coach Terry ONLY DURING THE PHASE 3 WORKOUTS - checks will NOT be accepted on the first day of camp. 
    • If you want to pay by Zelle, you'll need to add us to your Zelle account

      • Once you've registered, please pay the dollar amount listed on your registration form
      • Please make sure to note your player's name in the note/memo area so that we may credit the proper player
      • Payments need to be made before August 2nd

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES:

• August 3rd thru 6th - Team / All Skills Camp
  • Monday and Tuesday 7:15-9:30 am AND 5:00-7:00 pm 
  • Wednesday and Thursday 7:15-9:30 am
• August 3rd - Physicals uploaded and Registration complete on DRHS Athletic website
• August 10th and 11th - Tryouts  (NO info has been sent about this yet) 
• August 11th - teams selected  (NO info has been sent about this yet)
• Practices begin  (NO info has been sent about this yet)
  • Assuming we continue on a positive trajectory with COVID, and we don't receive different guidance from state or local officials, we will be holding practices, and potentially games, before school even starts. Games are on the calendar as they were originally scheduled. Please remember, at this point, all dates and times are subject to change.

IF YOUR PLAYER WANTS TO TRYOUT, MAKE SURE TO DO THE FOLLOWING:

• Get a Sports Physical
  • Ultimate Health Medical Clinic, near Wadsworth and Bowles was recently offering physicals for $30.00, and $10.00 of that is donated back to our program - you might check with them to see if this is still being offered. Click here for a flyer with details.    
  • Please DO NOT send us the physical. We cannot accept them, and we cannot submit them on your behalf.
• Create an account on the CHSAA website
  • New players / incoming freshmen need to create an account
  • Returning players need to update their account
• Register on the DRHS Athletic Website
  • New Players / Incoming Freshmen need to create an account
  • Returning players need to update their account
• Upload the sports physical on the DRHS Athletic website until August 3rd
  • Physicals will be uploaded to this website. 
  • New Players / Incoming Freshmen need to create an account

  • Must be done by August 3rd
